Snow Bowl Ski Programs

Our experienced instructors look forward to helping you gain the confidence and skills you need to enjoy your time on skis or a snowboard. Whether you want to master more advanced techniques or try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, our team of experts can customize lessons to suit all ability levels.

Ski School is devoted to creating a safe and fun learning environment for all ages. They look forward to helping you, your family and your friends gain the confidence and the skills necessary to truly enjoy our mountain, time and time again.

Ski School Lessons

Reservations are required for all lessons. To make a reservation please fill out the contact form below. Please note, the cost of a lesson does not include lift ticket or rental equipment.

Ski School is now closed for the season. We will begin taking lesson requests starting in December of 2026.

What level skier/snowboarder are you?

Level 1
First Time: Student has never skied or snowboarded before or is not yet ready to ride the Magic Carpet Lift.
Level 2
Magic Carpet: Student can put on and take off equipment, sidestep/scoot on flat terrain, and stand unassisted after falling.
Level 3
New Lift Riders: Student can perform reliable turns and stops. They are ready to load and unload the chairlift with little assistance.
Level 4
Intermediate: Can reliably link turns on green trails. Can control speed and stop easily. Practice the Skier's Responsibility Code and are ready for more challenging terrain.
Level 5
Advanced: Can maintain edge angles and turn sizes in varied snow and terrain. Practice consistent speed and directional control. Ready to explore bumps, glades and steeps.

Youth Programs

Youth programs offer a series of lessons focused on teaching and improving fundamental skills of skiing in small groups of similar age and ability. Join our mailing list to receive announcements of when registration opens.

Women on Snow

Join us for a 4-session all female clinic Fridays 12-2pm. Enhance all-mountain skills, boost confidence and build community! This program taught by our experienced female instructors welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all levels and celebrates the unique perspectives and experiences of the participants.

Men on Snow

Join us for a 4-session all male clinic Thursdays 12-2pm. Enhance all-mountain skills, boost confidence and build community! This program taught by our experienced male instructors welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all levels and celebrates the unique perspectives and experiences of participants.

Scholarships Available

The Camden Snow Bowl is committed to increasing access to snow sports for ALL children in our communities, regardless of economic status.
Youth scholarships are funded through contributions to the Camden Snow Bowl, Ragged Mountain Ski Club and the Japheth Scott Scholarship Fund, among others.

 

All applicants will be notified by email of scholarship awards on a rolling basis, there is no deadline to apply.
