Camden Snow Bowl Ski Patrol

The Camden Snow Bowl Ski Patrol is a mainly volunteer ski patrol that is comprised of about 50 registered National Ski Patrol- certified patrollers. Our mission is to provide emergency care at the highest level of quality to the guests of the Snow Bowl. Patrol members are also friendly, supportive, and promote the family-oriented atmosphere of the Snow Bowl. During the off-season, the Patrol frequently volunteers their first-aid expertise for Snow Bowl events other community-oriented outdoor events.

Patrol candidates are trained locally by our qualified Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) instructors.

Instruction includes: classroom instruction in Outdoor Emergency Care (a National Ski Patrol certification);

On hill training – ski/snowboard and toboggan skills; CPR certification

Ragged Mountain Ski Patrol, National Ski Patrol

Employees and Volunteers of the Camden Snow Bowl Ski Patrol are also members of the Ragged Mountain Ski Patrol, a registered unit of the National Ski Patrol (Eastern Division, Maine Group).  RMSP is a 501c3, nonprofit organization.


The Purpose and Mission of the RMSP:

To promote safety in the sports of skiing and snowboarding in cooperation with NSPS (National Ski Patrol System), Camden Snow Bowl ski area management, Professional Ski Instructors of America, the American Ski Federation, and other groups devoted to the promotion of safety.

To serve the Camden Snow Bowl management and the snow sport public as a trained and skilled rescue organization.
