Competition Programs

Happy Skiers @ CSB = Skiers for Life!

The goals of the Camden Snow Bowl racing programs are to:

Audrey Heriz-Smith, 2016 Sally Deaver Super G.

1) Improve skiing/snowboarding ability.

2) Have fun.

3) Provide quality race training and racing experiences.

4) Develop a lifelong passion for the sport.

Our programs are designed to help participants of all ages, and a wide range of abilities, to realize their highest potential as an athlete, competitor and person. We foster the love of skiing by providing a positive and supportive environment.

We believe that the development of the total athlete is more important than winning; and that the thrill of competition, when guided by a dedicated coaching staff, can be very rewarding and an opportunity to learn valuable life lessons.

Izzy, at a Family Fun Race five years ago. We’re bringing the race back in her memory this year!

2019 Family Fun Race
in memory of
Isabelle Manahan

Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. Awards to follow. Registration on registration day, morning, inside the Snow Bowl Lodge. The family fun race is just that, a fun race for families.

Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged, and there are prizes for the most creative costumes and top finishers in the race. Individuals can also register and join the festivities. And tutus are HIGHLY encouraged for everyone! This event is FREE for all participants, but racers MUST register in the lodge, the morning of the race, and no one can run the course without a race bib.

The race course is crazy fun, and designed to be both easy and fun. Brushieville will be back as a favorite element… cupcakes and balloons for everyone. By capturing Izzy’s spirit, this is organized to be a festive and fun event that also kicks off another great ski season.

Ragged Mountain Ski and Snowboard Club is co-hosting this event.
