Ragged Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club

The Ragged Mountain Ski and Snowboard Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization that promotes skiing and snowboarding for families in the Mid-Coast area. Among its many activities the club raises funds for the 4th Grade Learn to Ski Program which brings children from several local elementary schools to the Snow Bowl for three days of free skiing each winter. The club also distributes scholarship money to help make winter snow sports affordable to any child who is interested. Youth racing programs are also a major focus of the club. Fundraising activities include a November fundraising dinner and four fall foliage Pancake Breakfasts and Chairlift Rides at the Snow Bowl. During the ski season the club also sponsors special events at the Snow Bowl and trips to other ski areas.
