Changing Times

World War II brought all those good times to an end. It was a sad day when the lodge burned, in the late 60s, but an A-frame was soon put up as the new lodge. Its location changed, because skating had lost its popularity and skiing was in.

The Camden Women's Club tried to revive the Winter Carnival in 1973 with help from others, but it did not catch on. Times have changed and things have changed but you now know of its humble beginning.

Many changes have been made over the years and skiing (and snow boarding) are now the most popular sports. Under the leadership of Jack Williams a toboggan chute has once again been built and many people are enjoying it.
